Exploring Cary

Cary is a village located in Algonquin Township, McHenry County, Illinois, and Cuba Township, Lake County, Illinois. The village is 5.9 square miles and has a  population of about 18,067 .  The village is located in beautiful McHenry County and is approximately 45 miles from downtown Chicago and 30 miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Public transit is used by many.  Despite being small in size, there are a lot of people using the train to get to and from work every day.   The Metra train passes through the heart of downtown Cary, making commuting to Chicago pretty easy.
