Exploring Schaumburg

Schaumburg is a northwestern suburb of Chicago, Illinois. and is located about 26 miles from downtown Chicago. It is 19.4 mi² and has a population of around 74,194. It’s known for the Woodfield Mall, with hundreds of shops and restaurants. There isn’t a true downtown, but  Olde Schaumburg may be close.   Olde Schaumburg Centre is a small area of local businesses and restaurants.

Schaumburg definitely has an urban feel.  There is plenty to do here and in the surrounding areas.  Your money goes a little further for the space compared to other cities.  Schaumburg is a “young” area.  The area is filled with many young adults and people looking to start a family.
